The Cowpoke’s Contrary Conundrum: A humorous account of a cowboy’s resilience and wit in navigating the antics of a stubborn herd.

Rustling Up Some Courage

The Old West didn’t reward hesitation—it honored those who acted with purpose.

Out on the range where the prairie swells,
A cowpoke laughed at his stubborn yells.
With wrangling ropes and a tussle so grand,
He faced the herd with a wink and a stand.

The cattle bellowed, a rowdy crew,
Left and right, theyd wander askew.
He tipped his hat and scratched his chin,
“Guess I’ll herd them, let the games begin!”

A lasso twirled ‘neath the suns blazing ray,
He danced with bulls in a comical fray.
With a cowboy’s charm and a twinkle of glee,
He knew each critter had its own decree.

At dusk, the stars painted skies aglow,
The cowpoke chuckled, “Well, that’s quite a show.”
With grit and laughter, he faced each plight,
For a cowboys heart knows to laugh through the night.
