Chasing Dreams Across the Plains
Out here, every cowboy knows that fortune favors the bold.
Out on the range where the wild winds roam,
A cowboy chuckled, “Don’t forget your comb.”
Though life may throw dust, and storms may brew,
Dont let the worry crowd out your view.
With a twinkle in eye, he tipped his hat,
“Remember, partner, life’s more than that.
If you trip and fall, dust off with glee,
Laugh at the ground, it aint got a key.”
As evening fell, round the fires warm glow,
He quipped, A wise man knows which way to go.
“Just like a steer, when you lose your track,
Find laughters path; it’ll always bring you back.”
So raise a glass to those rugged souls,
Who spin life’s lessons like warm prairie coals.
In every chuckle, a nugget of truth,
For in the heart of a cowboy, lies eternal youth.
