Holding Steady Through the Storm
Cowboys know that the hardest trails lead to the most beautiful views.
In dusty towns where tumbleweeds spin,
A sidekick named Slim wore a foolish grin.
With plans that sparked as bright as the day,
He turned the mundane to a wild play.
One sunny morn, he rigged up a trap,
To catch the sheriffs hat while he took a nap.
With strings and a flag, he set the stage,
Laughter erupted, stirred causing a rage.
Across the range, hed dance through the night,
With moonlit pranks that brought pure delight.
Hed paint the horses tail with bright colors,
While cowhands gasped, Oh, why must you bother?
As sunset glowed, theyd gather round the fire,
To share tales of Slim, the pranks theyd admire.
For in every scheme, there was joys sweet balm,
A whirlwind of laughter in the deserts calm.
