A cowpoke who sets out to catch a mythical giant rattlesnake but ends up with a tiny garden snake instead

Trusting the Steady Steed

A cowboy’s trust in his horse is as deep as the canyons they ride.

In twilights glow, where shadows dance,
A cowpoke set forth, with brave expanse.
His heart was set on a tale so grand,
To catch the snake, the legends had planned.

Through arroyos deep and canyons wide,
He searched for the beast that nature did hide.
With rattles ablaze, a giant of might,
His dreams rode high, like stars in the night.

But as dawn broke, with dew on the grass,
A flicker of movement made him amass.
A tiny green snake, not fierce but quite meek,
The legend he sought was not what hed seek.

Yet laughter erupted as dawn kissed the land,
For in every journey, theres wonder at hand.
From giants to gardens, the truth hed embrace,
Adventures the key, and his heart found its place.
