Timber Trails and Tethered Souls: The Cowboy’s Connection to the Wild

The Lure of Wide-Open Spaces

There’s something about the open range that speaks to the soul of a cowboy.

Upon the timber trails he roams,
With every whisper, the wild calls home.
The scent of pine and leather strong,
A tethered soul where he belongs.

Through rugged peaks, his spirit flies,
With hooves that thunder, beneath vast skies.
The crackling campfire, a beacon bright,
Illuminates dreams that dance in the night.

In solitude, his heartbeats sync,
With every stream and ancient blink.
Each howl of wolf, a story spun,
Of battles lost, and victories won.

As dawn breaks soft, on valleys wide,
He rides alone, but not denied.
For in the wild, his spirits free,
Timber trails lead to eternity.
