Trusting the Steady Steed
A cowboy’s trust in his horse is as deep as the canyons they ride.
Under a quilt of velvet night,
Laughter dances, pure delight.
With lassos twirling, stars take flight,
While cowboys dream of distant heights.
In the holler of the saguaros tall,
They spot Orion, hear his call.
With twinkling eyes, they spin a tale,
Of starry steers and a jolly trail.
A constellations twinkling grin,
Reflects the mischief deep within.
In playful banter, stories rise,
As comets trace across the skies.
When dawn awakens, colors blend,
Those whimsical nights they won’t suspend.
With boots on earth, and hearts aglow,
The stargazing cowboys steal the show.
