Living by the Cowboy Code
In the Old West, your word was your bond, and respect was earned the hard way.
In twilights blush where shadows play,
The jackrabbit leaps at close of day.
With ears so tall, they dance and prance,
In moonlit glow, they lead the chance.
Above at dusk, wise owls take flight,
Through cactus arms and silver light.
Their hoots a song, of secrets told,
In desert dreams, both brave and bold.
With every twitch and soft-footed bound,
Laughter echoes, a joyous sound.
The wildlife plays in choreographed grace,
A dazzling dance in this vast, open space.
As stars blink down in the velvet sky,
The cowboy watches with a wink and sigh.
For in their frolic, life’s lessons unfold,
In nature’s rhythm, wisdom lies, untold.
