Chasing Dreams Across the Plains
Out here, every cowboy knows that fortune favors the bold.
In the hush of dawn, where the rattlers wink,
A cowboy laughs with a wink and a blink.
The roadrunner zips with a clever little jest,
While the jackrabbit grins, ever quick to contest.
Beneath the sun’s glow, the cacti stand tall,
The tortoise chuckles, “Why hurry at all?”
A lizard perches, scales glinting with pride,
“Life’s all about pace,” he smugly replied.
As coyotes howl in the cooling night air,
A cowboy spins tales of his wild frontier dare.
The owls nod knowingly, with wisdom to spare,
While the bats swoop low, teasing without a care.
So heed the desert’s wise, witty refrain,
In laughter and banter, the bonds we gain.
Each creature a friend, in this rugged domain,
Where wild hearts connect on the dry, dusty plain.
