Chasing Dreams Across the Plains
Out here, every cowboy knows that fortune favors the bold.
In desert heat where silence reigns,
A cowboys quest through sun-scorched plains.
He stumbles pon an emerald glade,
A hidden oasis, a cool cascade.
The palm trees sway with a gentle sigh,
While crystal waters gleam like the sky.
But lurking near, a guardian bold,
An angry lizard, fierce and cold.
With sunburned skin, the cowboy dips,
Reviving life with each cool sip.
Yet the lifeguard lizard starts to thrash,
Hissing warnings, ready to clash.
The cowboy laughs, but his mirth won’t stay,
As the lizard charges, bold in play.
He spurs his horse, with dust in flight,
“Ain’t no oasis worth a lizard fight!”
