Riding the Trail of the West
A cowboy’s life is a simple life, but it’s one filled with grit, heart, and adventure.
Beneath a sky of endless blue,
The wild winds whisper tales anew.
With leather reins, and hearts unscarred,
They seek a life, where dreams are starred.
The barbed wire stretches, harsh and wide,
Dividing freedoms long denied.
Yet through the fence, old spirits roam,
Where cattle graze and cowboys call home.
With every loop, a legend bends,
The cost of taming, the heart defends.
A lonesome coyotes mournful song,
Reminds them where their roots belong.
As sunsets blaze and shadows cling,
The cowboys soul finds strength to sing.
For in the wires, the wild still gleams,
Each star a testament to barbed wire dreams.
