Fences on the Prairie: The Tension Between Freedom and Boundaries

Taming the Wild Frontier

It takes a steady hand and a bold heart to tame the wild west.

In the vast expanse where the wild winds roam,
Fences rise like whispers, marking what™s home.
Yet freedom calls from each faraway hill,
A restless heart knows the shadow of will.

With cattle lowing and horizons wide,
Barbed wire stretches where dreams once did glide.
The cowboy™s heart, though bound to the land,
Still yearns for the touch of a roaming hand.

As the sun dips low, the sky bleeds red,
These boundaries forged where once none had tread.
A lonesome ride through the twilights embrace,
Casts longing gazes on open space.

So he rides beneath the watchful stars gleam,
Chasing the echoes of freedoms sweet dream.
For fences may hold, but they cannot confine,
The soul of a cowboy, wild by design.
