Holding Steady Through the Storm
Cowboys know that the hardest trails lead to the most beautiful views.
In the still of dusk, with hooves in stride,
The steed kicks up dust, like a wild-eyed tide.
With a wiggle and whinny, he prances so bold,
A dance of pure joy, a story retold.
His mane stands like fire, in the soft evening glow,
Eyes twinkling like stars in the twilights slow flow.
With a snort and a neigh, he claims his domain,
In the heart of the prairie, where both wild and tame reign.
Laughter erupts as he sidesteps the breeze,
Nibbling at daisies, as carefree as leaves.
For each quirk he displays, a new tale to spin,
In the rodeo of life, hes destined to win.
As the moon takes its post, casting shadows so wide,
The cowboy and horse share the same spirited pride.
With every hoof beat, they write legends anew,
In a world of horse sense, where nonsense rings true.
