The Cowboy Way of Doing Things
Do what’s right, ride tall, and keep your boots clean—it’s the cowboy way.
In sunlit sands where the lizards play,
With emerald skins that dart and sway.
I watch their dance, a lively chase,
Each leap a cheer, each turn a grace.
The cardinal sings from a cactus tall,
His bright red crown, a startling call.
Together we frolic, in this vast expanse,
Finding our rhythm in natures dance.
With laughter echoing in the dry, warm air,
The lizards wink like they know my care.
We share this joy in the deserts heart,
In every moment, we craft our art.
As shadows stretch and daylight fades,
The stars emerge, a sky cascades.
In this rugged land, we claim our song,
Laughing together, where we belong.
