Chasing Dreams Across the Plains
Out here, every cowboy knows that fortune favors the bold.
In twilights glow, the desert sprawls,
Where tumbleweeds dance and silence calls.
With saddle-sore smiles, they share the jest,
Of cactus thorns and a wild horse’s quest.
Their campfire crackles, stories unfold,
Of mishaps whirling in the heat so bold.
A horse that shied from a shadowed stone,
Left a cowboy humbling, out there alone.
The vast sky deepens with every phase,
As starlight drapes the rugged ways.
They laugh at days when water ran dry,
Yet wisdom grows beneath that wide-open sky.
So lift your glass to those who roam,
Through shifting sands that feel like home.
For every stumble, every sore ride,
There’s treasure found when they look inside.
