The Cowboy Way of Doing Things
Do what’s right, ride tall, and keep your boots clean—it’s the cowboy way.
In twilights glow, the desert sighs,
As vibrant hues paint western skies.
The cowboys gather, hats tipped low,
With jokes and laughter, spirits grow.
A rusted chuckwagon, stories told,
Of trails well-worn, and hearts so bold.
With every quip, the firelight dances,
Enriching their bond, sparking romances.
“Hey, partner, did you see that move?”
One cowboy grins, his wit to prove.
“Like a jackrabbit on a spree,
Avoided that cactus–just like me!”
As orange fades to indigo night,
They find in the stars their shared delight.
For sunset whispers and laughters ring,
Fuel dreams of freedom, their hearts take wing.
