Holding Steady Through the Storm
Cowboys know that the hardest trails lead to the most beautiful views.
Beneath the dim lights of the barroom’s glow,
He stands, a keeper of tales from long ago.
With a weathered hand, he pours out the drink,
Each shot a memory, each sip makes you think.
The cowboys gather, their faces worn and wise,
They spin their yarns under vast starlit skies.
From saloon to saddle, and laughter to tears,
The bartender watches, collecting their fears.
A heart made of leather, toughened by strife,
He knows every secret, the pulse of their life.
With a nod and a smile, he greets every man,
For each has a story, a dream and a plan.
As dawn breaks the horizon and night bids adieu,
He wipes down the counter, with one last look due.
In the silence that follows, the echoes still remain,
In the heart of the bar, the legends sustain.
