Finding Gold in the Details
The Old West taught us that persistence often unearths the greatest treasures.
Out on the range where the wild winds roam,
Belly laughs chase the weariness home.
With a twinkle in eye, old Jeb struts near,
Sharing tall tales that spark joy and cheer.
As coyotes howl neath a dusty sky,
He recalls the time he mistook a pie,
For a plate of grub that his buddy made,
With a grin, he swears he never strayed.
Riding through life with a humorous twist,
Lessons abound, but jest never missed.
“Don’t take life too serious,” he’d holler wide,
“Find joy in the saddle, let laughter be your guide.”
As stars blink above like mischievous sprites,
The cowboys share memories under the nights.
In the belly laughs of their wild, rugged ways,
Are the truths of the West that forever blaze.
