Trusting the Steady Steed
A cowboy’s trust in his horse is as deep as the canyons they ride.
In the heart of the desert, neath blazing sun,
The cacti chuckle, their games just begun.
With arms wide-reaching, they wave and sway,
While shadows dance lightly, in playful display.
A cowboy rides in, his hat low and tight,
He laughs with the cacti, what pure delight.
They tag one another, in sun-drenched sprawl,
These spirited gnomes, ever carefree and tall.
With each joyous chase, the shadows leap high,
Beneath the vast dome of an endless sky.
The wind carries whispers of tales old and grand,
As cacti and cowboys unite in this land.
When twilight descends, and the games start to cease,
The laughter of cacti brings forth sweet peace.
With stars as their witness, they rest in the glow,
A bond forged in mirth, where the wild breezes blow.
