The Lure of Wide-Open Spaces

There’s something about the open range that speaks to the soul of a cowboy.

By the glow of the embers, the chuckwagon™s bright,
Cowboys gather round for a laugh-filled night.
With pots and pans clanging, the stories flow free,
As laughter dances ˜neath a starlit marquee.

Old Jake stands and chuckles, with beans on his chin,
Last time I cooked, I lost track of the din.
The squirrel I once caught, it sure turned out tough,
But I served it with pride, saying, Aint this enough?

From Cimarron™s plains to the Rio™s swift bend,
The cowhands relay tales, each punchline a friend.
With every œya-hoo! from the back of the crowd,
It™s a night of good humor, where joy™s well-endowed.

So if you find rustlers who snicker and tease,
Don™t fret--there™s a chuckwagon, where spirits are ease.
With bellies that™re full and hearts full of cheer,
The best of the West gathers round, year by year.
