The Cowboy Way of Doing Things
Do what’s right, ride tall, and keep your boots clean—it’s the cowboy way.
In morning light, the cattle play,
With mischief found in their wild display.
They kick the dust, a swirling dance,
A stampede brews, sparks in every glance.
The rancher shouts, œCome back, you fools!
As hooves create their raucous rules.
With laughter bright, they churn and sway,
A barnyard ball, come what may.
Through fields of gold, like waves they roll,
A rushing tide that swallows whole.
The cowboys cheer, their hats held high,
As chaos reigns beneath the sky.
When calm returns, the sun will bloom,
Each giddy heart dispels the gloom.
For in their hearts, a bond they keep,
With contrary cows, the memories leap.
