Whistling Through the Prairie Winds

A cowboy learns to face the winds with grit and a song in his heart.

In the heart of dust where the wild winds twirl,
Beneath the stars, a strange tale unfurl.
A stage made of sage, ˜neath the moon™s silver glow,
Where cattle waltz on hooves, putting on quite the show.

Their horns twist and twirl like a rodeos spin,
With a wink and a moo, they draw laughter within.
A bull struts around, wearing boots two sizes too small,
And from the crowds roar, youd think he stood tall.

The heifers perform, with grace and with flair,
Tipping their hats, casually slicking back hair.
Each joke met with snorts, each punchline a hit,
Turns cowboys to giggles, in wild fits they sit.

So when night falls deep on that desert so wide,
With laughter like thunder, the critters take pride.
At the Contrary Cattle Club, beneath stars overhead,
Even the toughest of cowboys go home grinning in bed.
