The Lure of Wide-Open Spaces

There’s something about the open range that speaks to the soul of a cowboy.

In a dusty town where laughter rings,
Stood a cowboy bold, with wild, wiry things.
His horse, old Buck, with a twinkle in eye,
Would roll and prance, as folks passed by.

With a wink and a nod, theyd hit the stage,
A duo unmatched, unleashing their rage.
Buck’d stomp and snort, while the cowboy would jest,
In quips and quirks, they brought out the best.

As lassos flew, and the crowd roared loud,
They spun tales of mischief, making hearts proud.
“Why did the horse cross the BBQ grill?”
“To get to the other side–hoping for a thrill!”

Under the stars, with laughter so bright,
They’d dance on the trail ‘til the end of night.
For in every trod, in each hearty cheer,
The cowboy and Buck found joy without fear.
