Whistling Through the Prairie Winds
A cowboy learns to face the winds with grit and a song in his heart.
In twilight™s hush, the saddle creaks,
A whisper shared twixt man and beast.
Through dusty trails, the journey speaks,
Of legends born, and tales released.
The leather warm against my thigh,
Recalls the days of sun and dust.
With every rise, and every sigh,
The creak reveals a bond of trust.
Beneath the stars, on windward plains,
Where coyotes howl in mournful tune,
The saddles voice through joy and pains,
Reminds me of the long-lost moon.
As dawn breaks wide, with gilded rays,
The saddle creaks, a steady friend.
Each journey holds its wistful phase,
Yet in its song, the trails transcend.
