The Cowboy Way of Doing Things
Do what’s right, ride tall, and keep your boots clean—it’s the cowboy way.
In the glow of lanterns, spirits rise,
As fiddles sing beneath the starry skies.
Boots scuff the floor, with laughter so bright,
At the dance of hearts, we twirl into night.
With every spin, the world melts away,
As coyotes howl, and the children play.
Two souls entwined, in rhythm, they sway,
Lost in the moment, come what may.
The scent of leather, freshly tanned and worn,
Mixes with wildflowers, in evenings adorn.
Eyes lock like lassoes, a spark shared anew,
In this dance of hearts, a love born true.
As dawn creeps in, with a blush on its face,
The music fades, but we linger with grace.
In the dance of hearts, forever well stay,
Two cowboys in love, come what may.
