Riding the Trail of the West
A cowboy’s life is a simple life, but it’s one filled with grit, heart, and adventure.
In the deserts grasp, where silence reigns,
The sun beats down, yet friendship gains.
With tales spun round the flickering fire,
Laughters sweet echo lifts spirits higher.
A dusty trail leads to wisdoms embrace,
Where cowboys gather, each face a trace.
With a wink and a grin, they share their lore,
Turning barren lands to a lively core.
The mockingbird sings a tune so light,
While horrors of drought fade into the night.
A quip about cactus, a laugh on the breeze,
Transforms the harshness to jovial ease.
As stars alight in the vast velvet dome,
The warmth of camaraderie feels like home.
Their jokes dance like shadows beneath the moon,
In this oasis, the heart finds its tune.
