Chasing Dreams Across the Plains
Out here, every cowboy knows that fortune favors the bold.
Beneath the vast, unending sky,
A cowboy laughed as the night drew nigh.
In moonlit dance, with shadows cast,
He heard a croak, a sound so vast.
A desert toad, with antics bold,
Broke silence soft, a tale retold.
With every ribbit, joy took flight,
Their chuckles echoed through the night.
Around the fire, the stars aglow,
The cowboy grinned at his toad friend’s show.
With leaps and hops, in playful glee,
They shared a bond, wild and free.
As dawn approached with hues of gold,
The cowboy embraced the joy unfold.
A whimsical tune beneath the sun,
The toad’s sweet croak, their laughter spun.
