Taming the Wild Frontier
It takes a steady hand and a bold heart to tame the wild west.
In the sun-scorched land where cactus bloom,
A roadrunner darts, with a sense of zoom.
He mocks the coyote, who lags far behind,
While lizards laugh, in the warm sands entwined.
The rattlesnake shakes to a jazzy beat,
Dancing in shadows, oh what a treat!
With a wiggle and hiss, he takes the stage,
In natures theater, he steals the wage.
A jackrabbit hops, with comical flair,
His ears like sails, catching desert air.
In a game of tag with a quick-footed hare,
They leap over rocks, without a single care.
As sunset paints fire across the sky,
These critters gather, with twinkles in eye.
Their antics abound in twilights glow,
In the deserts embrace, where laughter will flow.
