Trusting the Steady Steed
A cowboy’s trust in his horse is as deep as the canyons they ride.
In the heart of town, where legends sway,
Lively hoedowns greet the dusk of day.
With boots a-tapping, the music starts,
The Dusty Spurs twirl, igniting hearts.
Underneath the stars, the chatter rings,
Cowgirls with laughter, and cowboy springs.
Their hats tipped low, they leap and bound,
In swirling dresses, joy knows no ground.
A raucous cheer as the fiddler plays,
The rhythm pulls them in a wild craze.
With echoes of stomps and claps that blend,
Each move a story, each spin a friend.
When night’s curtain closes, they’ll reminisce,
In every two-step lies dancing bliss.
For in those moments, they find their way,
The spirit of cowboys will never stray.
