The Fence Between Us

Holding Steady Through the Storm

Cowboys know that the hardest trails lead to the most beautiful views.

On dusty trails where silence breathes,
The sun sets low beyond the trees.
A weathered fence divides our lands,
Yet binds our hearts, though time slips sands.

With each soft breeze, I hear your name,
In whispered tones, a wild flame.
The cattle graze while shadows blend,
As twilight paints the sky, our friend.

Two souls adrift like clouds in flight,
Beyond this fence, we share our night.
The stars above, they twinkle bright,
A bridge of dreams in fading light.

So let us ride the trails we roam,
With courage found, we’ll find our home.
For in the dusk, our spirits trust,
Together strong, twixt fence and dust.
