The Lantern That Leads the Way: A Light for Those Who Follow

When the West Was Wild

It wasn’t the land that made cowboys—it was their untamed spirit.

In the stillness where the night winds moan,
A lantern glows on this path I roam.
Its flickering flame, a beacon bright,
Guides lost spirits through the thick of night.

Across the plains where the wildflowers sway,
It winks and dances, a gentle sway.
With leather hands, I cradle its beam,
A guide for the weary, a light for the dream.

Through canyons deep, where few dare tread,
The lantern hums softly, a tune unsaid.
Its warmth whispers tales of friends long past,
Of sunsets golden and shadows cast.

So ride with me, where the stars pulse high,
This lantern leads on, beneath the vast sky.
Well chase the night, together well strive,
For hope, like the dawn, will always arrive.
