The Lantern’s Lonely Glow: A Beacon in the Darkness of the Plains

Rustling Up Some Courage

The Old West didn’t reward hesitation—it honored those who acted with purpose.

Beneath a sky where shadows creep,
The lantern’s glow, a vigil keep.
Its light a whisper, soft and low,
A beacon brave in plains’ dark flow.

The prairie winds, they howl and moan,
Through sagebrush fields, so wild, alone.
A cowboy rides, with spine of steel,
His heart beats fast as shadows peel.

The stars above, like distant friends,
Watch over trails where silence bends.
With every flicker, hope ignites,
For weary souls on long, dark nights.

As dawn breaks through, its fingers bright,
The lantern dims but holds the light.
With every dawn, a journeys song,
In darkness found, where hearts belong.
