The Outlaw’s Shadow: A Reflection on Freedom and Consequences

Riding the Trail of the West

A cowboy’s life is a simple life, but it’s one filled with grit, heart, and adventure.

In the dusky glow of canyons bend,
Where freedom fades, and shadows blend,
An outlaw rides with spirits high,
But trails of past like storms drift by.

His boots are worn, his heart is bold,
With whispers of the legends told.
A flickering fire as night descends,
Reminds him well that freedom bends.

Through dusty plains where coyotes wail,
His laughter echoes, a ghostly trail.
Yet every choice, like spurs that jingle,
Brings consequence as the fates mingle.

Beneath the stars, he charts his course,
Both hunted prey and a gallant force.
An outlaws path, with shadows cast,
Promises freedom, yet nets him fast.
