From Saddles to Success
The cowboy life teaches one lesson above all—hold the reins, and lead the way.
In twilights grasp, where shadows creep,
A cowboy rests, his thoughts run deep.
With firelight’s dance, the stars awake,
His heart seeks wisdom from the lake.
Perched high on bough, through branches wide,
A wise old owl with knowing eyes.
“Son, life’s a ride, a winding trail,
Embrace the journey, do not pale.”
With chuckles loud, the owl turned bright,
“Remember, boy, to laugh at night.
For in the dark, where fears might loom,
Find humors glow to light the gloom.”
As dawn broke sweet on rugged stone,
The cowboy rose, his heart now grown.
With owls advice beneath the skies,
He faced the day with open eyes.
