The Call of the Open Range
The wild west wasn’t tamed by sitting still—it took courage to follow the horizon.
In the morning light, the prairie wakes,
Where shadows stretch, and sunlight breaks.
Each blade of grass, a soldier’s stand,
In this vast realm, of earth and sand.
Beneath the sky, so wild and grand,
The dance of life takes nature’s hand.
From whispering winds to rattlesnakes hiss,
Adventure calls, in moments like this.
As thunder rolls, and storm clouds churn,
The prairie breathes, with lessons to learn.
The cowboy rides through dark and light,
With heart forged strong, he greets the fight.
At dusk, the colors blaze and fade,
While memories weave the threads hes laid.
In every shadow, a story sings,
Of freedom found, and the joy it brings.
