Blazing Trails in the Frontier
The only way to find new horizons is to keep riding toward the setting sun.
On the ridge where the wild winds sigh,
Beneath the clouds that roam the high,
The earth and sky in quiet talk,
Stand sentinel oer the dusty walk.
Here lies the trace of hooves and dust,
Where cowboys once rode, their dreams a must.
With hat in hand, they greet the morn,
As legends rise where hearts were sworn.
A lonesome hawk circles overhead,
Silhouetted gainst the clouds, it said--
Find strength where thunder meets the ground,
For in this union, truth is found.
As sunsets blaze in vibrant hue,
The laughter of the past breaks through.
On this ridge, the spirit free,
Where earth meets sky, in unity.
