Trusting the Steady Steed
A cowboy’s trust in his horse is as deep as the canyons they ride.
On Shadowed Ridge where secrets dwell,
The weary cowboy rides, his heart to quell.
With whispers low, the breezes sigh,
As burdens weigh like clouds in the sky.
The jagged rocks guard dreams once bright,
Where solitude wraps the fading light.
His horses steps, a steady drum,
Reflect the battles that will come.
At dusk the shadows dance and weave,
In every twist, a tale to grieve.
Yet through the veil, a brighter view,
Reminds him dreams can still break through.
As morning breaks in hues of gold,
He rides anew, both brave and bold.
With every dawn, he sheds the fright,
On Shadowed Ridge, he finds his light.
