Kicking Up Dust on the Trail
The trail might be tough, but a cowboy always finds a way forward.
In a dusty town where gossip flies,
The Shootout Shindig drew eager eyes.
Painted faces and laughter rang,
As roosters crowed and the cowbells clang.
The sharpshooters lined up with flair and glee,
Each wink and jest, a wild jubilee.
With fabled tales that turned the night,
They laughed at danger, what a sight!
Old Slim McGraw, with a twinkle bright,
Declared he™d shoot out a candlelight.
While Daisy Mae, with eyes of fire,
Said, Watch me hit that target flyer!
As shots rang true, the crowd held fast,
With every miss, the fun amassed.
For in this shindig, the prize was clear--
Not just the aim, but joys frontier.
