The Lure of Wide-Open Spaces
There’s something about the open range that speaks to the soul of a cowboy.
Beneath the vast expanse of night,
The stars above began to light.
With twinkling eyes, they shared their jest,
A cowboy’s heart was put to test.
He laughed aloud, with leather gloves,
As constellations spun like doves.
The Milky Way, a ribbon bright,
Whispered secrets of the night.
Coyote’s grin, a sly delight,
Joined in the tales that took to flight.
From barren plains to canyon bends,
The stars conspired, where laughter blends.
As dawn approached, the mirth did fade,
For every joke, a lesson laid.
The cowboy tipped his hat with grace,
For wisdom found in starry space.
