Riding the Trail of the West
A cowboy’s life is a simple life, but it’s one filled with grit, heart, and adventure.
In the still of night, the shadows creep,
While the restless stars in silence weep.
A lone rider waits, neath the wide skys dome,
Dreams dance like embers, longing for home.
With first lights kiss, the horizon glows,
Whispering tales that the fresh wind sows.
A saddle creaks softly, as daylight breaks,
Awakening courage that the heart still takes.
The scent of sagebrush mingles with dew,
Each hoofbeat a promise, old yet new.
Mountains rise grand, like guardians bold,
Inviting the weary to stories retold.
So embrace the dawn, let the shadows flee,
For hope rides at sunrise, wild and free.
With the unbroken morning, fresh chances bloom,
In the heart of the cowboy, dispelling the gloom.
