Trusting the Steady Steed
A cowboy’s trust in his horse is as deep as the canyons they ride.
Beneath a blanket of velvet skies,
The desert breathes where the shadow lies.
Stars whirl like dancers in nightly grace,
A carousel spins, a wild, wondrous place.
With echoes of laughter, the cowboys dream,
As starlight twinkles, a silvery gleam.
Their hearts find rhythm, like hooves on the ground,
In the magic of night, pure joy can be found.
Mountains stand guard, their faces aglow,
While whispers of winds through sagebrush do flow.
Each twirl of the stars brings a tale to the fire,
Of freedom and spirits, of hope and desire.
When dawns gentle touch paints the desert bright,
The cowboys ride forth, kissed by the night.
With each heartbeat echoing wild tales of cheer,
They carry the carousel, forever near.
