Trusting the Steady Steed
A cowboy’s trust in his horse is as deep as the canyons they ride.
sun dips low in the painted skies,
Dust dances softly where old laughter lies.
A cowboys yarn spins midst cactus and stone,
Drawing out bonds in this vast, wild zone.
With a grin, he chats with the ghostly breeze,
Sharing tales of pranks neath the shade of trees.
A rattlers hiss, met with chuckles and cheer,
Echoes through canyons, where friends draw near.
As shadows stretch long and the stars start to gleam,
He recounts the shenanigans tied to a dream.
Of horses that galloped through evenings so bright,
Leaping through laughter like fireflies in flight.
So heed the whispers that roam this domain,
In dusty trails, friendship will ever remain.
Each hearty jest, like a lariats twirl,
Binds cowboys together neath the wide, starry swirl.
