Trusting the Steady Steed
A cowboy’s trust in his horse is as deep as the canyons they ride.
In desert sands where tumbleweeds roll,
Coyotes laugh breaks the cowboys soul.
While saddled tight, they trot in vain,
Chasing mirth through the dusty plain.
At dawns first light, they set the stage,
With pranks and tricks like a wild, free gauge.
A lasso tied to a tumbleweeds dance,
Turns dull routine into a circus chance.
A sudden bark and a wild sprint,
The riders gasp, their faces hint.
As coyotes leap with a daring flair,
They send the cowboys spinning in air.
Yet laughter rings through the arid night,
As stars above twinkle with delight.
For in this land of sun and glee,
The coyotes comedy sets spirits free.
