Whistling Through the Prairie Winds
A cowboy learns to face the winds with grit and a song in his heart.
On dusty trails where shadows play,
With hoots and howls at break of day,
Riders gather round their fires glow,
Sharing tales that make the warm winds blow.
A cowpoke grins, his hat tipped low,
His laugh a tune, like rivers flow.
Through trials faced and friendships tried,
Cowboy humor is a trusty guide.
The cacti sway with mirthful grace,
As laughter echoes in this wild place.
A wink exchanged, a jest so sly,
Turns weary journeys into a joyful ride.
So raise a toast, to chuckles bright,
In the heart of dusk, neath stars so white.
For life’s a dance on a long, rough mile,
Made sweeter still with a cowboy’s smile.
