The Lure of Wide-Open Spaces
There’s something about the open range that speaks to the soul of a cowboy.
Through high desert plains, the laughter roams,
Where contrary horns boast stories from homes.
With cacti dancing in the sun’s hot gleam,
Each steed bears witness to a herder’s dream.
A cowboy grins, as the sun fades low,
While tales of the herd begin to flow.
Of stubborn goats and a bull with glee,
Mischief unfolds beneath the yucca tree.
Coyote calls blend with the evening air,
As campfire embers spark without a care.
Each chuckle bounces off the mountain side,
In New Mexico’s heart, where laughter wont hide.
As stars emerge in a velvet dome,
The herd, a canvas, where each tale is sown.
So saddle up, friend, let your spirit soar,
On the laughter trail, adventure’s at the door.
