The Burnished Horizon: A Tribute to the Beauty of Dust and Sunlight

When the West Was Wild

It wasn’t the land that made cowboys—it was their untamed spirit.

Beneath the vast, unyielding sky,
Where mountains meet the suns first sigh,
The dust dances soft, a golden haze,
In evenings glow, our hearts ablaze.

A lonesome rider in weathered boots,
With leather reins and wind-whipped roots,
He feels the whispers of tales untold,
In every sunsets brush of gold.

As cattle stir beneath the stars,
Their silhouettes like ancient scars,
Each hoofbeat echoes through the night,
A harmony of shadow and light.

When dawns first light begins to burn,
The world prepares for its next turn,
With eyes on horizons forever wide,
The cowboy rides, with sun as guide.
