The Lantern’s Final Flicker: Light Fading on a Life Well-Lived

Riding the Trail of the West

A cowboy’s life is a simple life, but it’s one filled with grit, heart, and adventure.

In the quiet dusk, the fire™s glow fades,
Casting shadows where the old horse wades.
A lantern dimmed, whispers tales of the brave,
Of trails well-traveled, and the lives they save.

The legends voice, like the wind, carries far,
Recalling the nights neath the wide-stretched star.
With a lonesome tune, he hums to the night,
Each flicker a memory, each sigh full of light.

Rugged mountains loom where the cattle once roamed,
With leather and dust, many hearts have called home.
As hooves tap a rhythm, the past sings so sweet,
In the dance of the shadows, old souls find their beat.

Yet time is a thief, and the lantern will dim,
But the stories endure, though the lights may grow slim.
So gather round close, and listen with care,
For a life well-lived flickers, yet lingers in air.
