The Last Rider’s Prayer: A Reflection on a Life Well Lived

The Cowboy Way of Doing Things

Do what’s right, ride tall, and keep your boots clean—it’s the cowboy way.

Beneath the vast and starlit dome,
Where whispers of the wild winds roam,
A rider bows with heart laid bare,
In twilights grace, he voiceth prayer.

With reins adorned in weathered grain,
He recalls the storms and days of pain.
Through dust and sun, a life well-spent,
With every mile, his spirits lent.

The campfire crackles, shadows dance,
He cherishes each brave glance and chance.
From hills of gold to rivers deep,
In every dream, his memories keep.

As dawn emerges, painting skies,
With hope anew in morning’s rise,
This last rider sighs, his heart so proud,
For life’s a tale sung loud, unbowed.
