Riding the Trail of the West

A cowboy’s life is a simple life, but it’s one filled with grit, heart, and adventure.

In the shade of sagebrush, cowboys grin,
With hats pulled low against the heat’s spin.
They’ve learned to laugh at the blazing sun,
Sipping cactus tea, the day’s just begun.

Giddy with humor, they chase the mirage,
Riding on mules that prance, full of charge.
A bucket of ice, with tacos galore,
Cooling their spirits, they howl for more.

As the wind whispers secrets, it tickles their skin,
Like old pals reminiscing, they share a good win.
With a wink, they tease, “We aint going to melt,
Just watch us outsmart this sweltering belt!”

When night falls gently, and the stars align,
Their laughter joins echoes in a warm, bright line.
For through all the trials the desert may send,
The bond of good humor will never just end.
